Are you a motivated high school junior in Fairfax or Loudoun County with a passion for technology, leadership, and community impact? SaNDAI Cares is recruiting rising students to serve as community leaders for its DataGen Scholars (DGS) program — and we want YOU to be part of the movement.
As a Vice President, you will help launch and lead a community-based program that empowers your peers with cutting-edge knowledge in data analytics, generative AI, and innovation.
This is more than a leadership role — it is your chance to shape the future, build your resume, and be recognized for making a real difference in your community. We are also hiring for these additional roles: PresidentSecretary, & Treasurer

About the Program:

DataGen Scholars (DGS) is a national initiative by SaNDAI Cares that empowers high school students with data analytics, generative AI, and leadership skills to thrive in the digital age. Through hands-on learning, real-world applications, and community-based programs, students gain knowledge that fuels both academic and community impact.

Role Summary:

SaNDAI Cares is recruiting 20 student leaders to serve as Vice Presidents of newly formed DataGen Scholars program at their respective Fairfax or Loudoun County high schools. Vice Presidents will work closely with their program Presidents to lead, manage, and expand the impact of the program in their community. You are also required to attend 14 hours of training with the SaNDAI Cares once you begin in this role.


This leadership role is ideal for highly motivated juniors who are collaborative, organized, and eager to promote digital skills, equity, and innovation among their peers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 🤝 Support the President in all program launch and leadership activities
  • 🎯 Assist in expanding program membership to 100 students by August 31
  • 📢 Lead community-wide promotion and marketing of the DataGen Scholars program
  • 🧑🏽‍🤝‍🧑🏼 Help oversee program officers (Secretary and Treasurer)
  • 🌟 Promote a strong program culture aligned with the DGS Code of Conduct
  • ✅ Track progress on tasks and encourage program participation
  • 📬 Maintain communication with SaNDAI Cares leadership and attend virtual check-ins

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a current high school junior enrolled in a Fairfax or Loudoun County public school
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Active in at least one school-based club or team sport
  • Collaborative, reliable, and passionate about leadership and tech equity
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Compensation & Timeline:

  • Vice Presidents will receive a $225 stipend beginning May 1, 2025
  • The official term is May 1 – June 30, 2025, with opportunities to continue serving in the 2025–2026 academic year
