As a President, you will help launch and lead a community-based program that empowers your peers with cutting-edge knowledge in data analytics, generative AI, and innovation.

About the Program:

DataGen Scholar (DGS) is a national initiative by SaNDAI Cares that empowers high school students with data analytics, generative AI, and leadership skills to thrive in the digital age. Through hands-on learning, real-world applications, and community-based programs, students gain knowledge that fuels both academic and community impact.

Role Summary:

SaNDAI Cares is seeking one to 10 student leaders from in Fairfax County, VA; Loudoun County, VA; Alexandria, VA; Baltimore County, MD; Sugarland, TX or New York, NY to serve as Presidents of the DGS program. This leadership and ambassador role is designed for motivated, community-minded juniors who want to drive a community-wide culture of innovation, inclusivity, and digital excellence.

As President, you will launch and lead the DGS program for your community, expanding membership, promoting the program, and coordinating with fellow officers (Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer) to ensure successful implementation and engagement. You are also required to attend 14 hours of training with the SaNDAI Cares once you begin in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• ✅ Launch the DGS program for your community with support from SaNDAI Cares
• 🎯 Expand community membership to 250 by August 31, 2025
• 📢 Lead community-based promotion and marketing of the program
• 🤝 Foster a positive program culture that reflects the DGS Code of Conduct
• 📅 Hold program members accountable for completing assigned DGS activities
• 📬 Communicate regularly with SaNDAI Cares staff and attend virtual check-ins

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be a current high school junior enrolled in a Fairfax County, VA; Loudoun County, VA; Alexandria, VA; Baltimore County, MD; Sugarland, TX or New York, NY public or private school
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Active in at least one school-based club or team sport
• Demonstrated leadership potential, reliability, and school spirit
• Strong communication skills and ability to motivate peers

Compensation & Timeline:

• Presidents will receive a $225 stipend monthly beginning June 30, 2025 and must attend also 14 hours of training with the SaNDAI Cares team at the start of their role
• The official term is June 1, 2025 – May 31, 2026
