Are you a motivated high school junior in Fairfax or Loudoun County with a passion for technology, leadership, and community impact? SaNDAI Cares is recruiting rising students to serve as community leaders for its DataGen Scholars (DGS) program — and we want YOU to be part of the movement.
As a President, you will help launch and lead a community-based program that empowers your peers with cutting-edge knowledge in data analytics, generative AI, and innovation.

About the Program:
DataGen Scholars (DGS) is a national initiative by SaNDAI Cares that empowers high school students with data analytics, generative AI, and leadership skills to thrive in the digital age. Through hands-on learning, real-world applications, and community-based programs, students gain knowledge that fuels both academic and community impact.
Role Summary:
SaNDAI Cares is seeking 20 student leaders from across Fairfax & Loudoun County to serve as Presidents of a DGS program for their community. This leadership and ambassador role is designed for motivated, community-minded juniors who want to drive a community-wide culture of innovation, inclusivity, and digital excellence.
As President, you will launch and lead the DGS program for your community, expanding membership, promoting the program, and managing fellow officers (Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer) to ensure successful implementation and engagement. You are also required to attend 14 hours of training with the SaNDAI Cares once you begin in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- ✅ Launch the DGS program for your community with support from SaNDAI Cares
- 🎯 Expand community membership to 100 by August 31, 2025
- 📢 Lead community-based promotion and marketing of the program
- 🧑🏽🤝🧑🏼 Manage and oversee program officers and delegate tasks
- 🤝 Foster a positive program culture that reflects the DGS Code of Conduct
- 📅 Hold program members accountable for completing assigned DGS activities
- 📬 Communicate regularly with SaNDAI Cares staff and attend virtual check-ins
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a current high school junior enrolled in a Fairfax or Loudoun County public school
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Active in at least one school-based club or team sport
- Demonstrated leadership potential, reliability, and school spirit
- Strong communication skills and ability to motivate peers
Compensation & Timeline:
- Presidents will receive a $250 stipend beginning May 1, 2025
- The official term is May 1 – June 30, 2025, with opportunities to continue in a leadership role for the 2025–2026 school year
